still trying to determine exactly what happened. they're not sure what if any thing provoked the attack. sirens alerted a baltimore county councilman of something was happening near his home. >> i was working on my computer and my wife says you better go see what is going on. >> still under investigation as a police-involved shooting at the shopping center in randallstown. police say an officer responded to a collar around 7:45 and monday morning about a suspicious man. they say the man parked his suv at the front of the shopping center. >> the subject appeared to be emotionally disturbed. >> after the first patrol car arrived, the man began attacking the officer. they say the officer used his patrol car door to push the man away. >> there was a struggle over the

officer's weapon, at which time a second officer pulled up to this team, observed what was going on and shot the suspect in the chest two times. >> the shopping center remain closed as police tried to sort out what happened. the officers are now on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. store managers and business owners were shocked. >> its life and things happen, but there's no area where there's not going to be any crime. we're not going to change anything. we're going to keep doing what we have been doing. >> so far, police have not release the identity of the man tried they say he is in critical but stable condition at shock trauma. >> tonight, a baltimore teenager is behind bars charged in a deadly shooting last month. according to police, the 70- rolled was one of three suspects

to approach a 30-year-old as he sat in his car in brooklyn park. detectives believe hill tried to drive off and he was shot. baltimore city police have identified a man who was shot in west baltimore. they say he was shot around the clock on baker street and later died in shock trauma. no word on a suspect or possible motive. >> people in college park are on edge after a second week with a string of robberies. the victims are being attacked by group with the latest incident on saturday morning when a student was walking along hartwig road. the victim said he was approached by four individuals, tackled and robbed. >> we encourage people traveling late at night or early in the morning to try to travel in pairs to let people know where you are going.

>> please have launched a campaign of the dangers between 2:00 and 4:00 in the morning. a construction worker is recovering after nearly being buried alive on the job. a six-foot trench partially collapsed on a man working in district heights yesterday afternoon. co-workers managed to dig him out so that his body was free but it took several firefighters to get him completely free. >> the attorney general is warning candidates and their supporters about campaign literature. he says his officer has seen handouts' falsely implying endorsements by state and local leaders. there have been incidents of fraudulent and inaccurate voter guides. he says all complaints will be fully investigated. campaign sign vandalism is also being investigated.
